Finding Peace Amid Holiday Stress and Differences

The holiday season is coming up, and with it comes new stress. This year, there’s more tension because of political arguments at family dinners.

Friends and family who used to be carefree are now more careful. They avoid certain topics, worried that arguments could ruin the mood. It’s tempting to skip the holiday dinner and take a trip to Jamaica instead.

There, I could relax in the peaceful Blue Mountains, eating fresh fruit. Or maybe take a long cruise to get away from it all.

Holidays are meant to bring us together, even when it’s difficult. Even with our differences, there’s still hope. Tough times don’t last forever. This season, let’s try to focus on connecting with each other instead of arguing.

We’re strong, adaptable, and capable of kindness. When we come together, let’s choose connection over conflict. What stories can we share that show what we have in common?
